Xolotech Consulting LLC formally launched in 2024, rooted in a personal project, "SF/IT – Solutions for Intermediate Technology," established in San Francisco before 1999. This early foundation in web development, data quality, and tech recommendations shaped our client-centric approach.

Charles "Tom" Castro, our Technology Solutions Curator, leads Xolotech. He brings over 20 years of enterprise-level IT experience from industry leaders like Microsoft, Dell, and Cognizant. His background includes directing large-scale infrastructure, security, and application deployments for major corporations, and leading IT for complex Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) projects, encompassing due diligence and integration for Highridge Medical and Dell Technologies. This extensive corporate expertise allows Xolotech to deliver strategic insight and hands-on application, typically accessible only to large enterprises—directly to small businesses and non-profits.

Our dedication extends deeply into the local community. As a SCORE Austin mentor, Charles actively guides small businesses and non-profits, bridging strategic IT with practical application. Our support for hackathons and Design Thinking events highlights our commitment to community innovation and fostering local tech talent. Xolotech is also a State of Texas HUB Certified business, committed to creating more opportunities for minority, women, and veteran-owned enterprises and fostering a more equitable business environment.
